I know this is a departure from the usual review but with the events that have happened in the last few weeks, I have to make a statement.
The recent deaths of Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Aubery and recently George Floyd have sparked nationwide protests. Protesters and BLM supporters are rightfully angry at the police brutality and racism that has been running rampant in this country for far too long.
My position in all of this is that Black Lives Matter.
Period.
End of story.
If you are focusing more on the looting rather than the fact that these innocent people died, you are telling on yourself.
I am going to be using my platform to highlight a few of my favorite POC (People of Color) owned business that I think are really deserving of your support.
