Price: $12 Available at Tony Moly (currently sold out, I will update this post once it's been restocked)

Skin, lip and body care is one of those areas in which mileage may vary for everyone.

As I mentioned in my last review for Tom's Deodorant, certain things work better than others for different people.

Case in point Tony Moly's Kiss Kiss Lip Treatment.

Here's some context: A month before my wedding (keep in mind, I got married in January 2020, before the Covid-19 Pandemic), I got myself a Laniege (sp?) gift set for dry/normal skin, which included their lip mask overnight treatment that had a lot of hype over it from the Beauty Community. By itself, it cost $25, for a tiny container. It also had a very strong berry smell. Berry scents tend to be very polarizing for a lot of people. I happen to like berry scents, so it wasn't a big deal for me. I was hoping it was worth it, so I figured, I'll try it.

Oh boy, I was not happy. The first couple of weeks, it was fine. It worked fine, but it started to have a very weird smell. The week before the wedding, the smell was so unbearable that I had to toss it.

When I saw this lip treatment on Tony Moly's website, I figured, I'll give it another go, also its $12 for the same amount as the Laniege lip mask! It does have a berry smell but it's not as strong and it's more pleasant.

I was pleasantly surprised! This stuff worked immediately! It took the Laniege lip mask two weeks to work properly on me and this one, all it took was a day for me! A little goes a long way for this stuff and the scent hasn't gone bad at all! In fact it smells light and pleasant. It's also half the price of the Laniege Lip Mask! This is $12 compared to the Laniege Lip Mask at $25 for the same amount of product. Tony Moly's lip mask works better for me. It makes my lips super soft within a day. Does it heal, no but it makes your lips soft, which is what lip masks tend to do.

However, there are some flaws, not a whole lot though. Berry is a polarizing scent for a lot of people. I do understand this is a new product, but I do wish that they offered an unscented option or a mint option for people who like a fresher scent or something unscented for people who have sensitive skin. The product is in a cute lip shape which is not a problem for me, but for some people, they may think its childish.

Sadly, Tony Moly is not cruelty free nor vegan, so that's a downer for me.

Regardless, I personally love this product and I'm going to use it until I run out of it. This is a definite repurchase for me.

The Tony Moly Kiss Kiss Lip Mask gets 8.5 kisses out of 10.
