Brand Controversy(ies): None that I can find.

I was curious to try Lethal Cosmetics because they sell single eyeshadow pans in a wide variety of gorgeous and fun colors. I figured I would give the Jolina Palette a try since the color story reminded me so much of an Anastasia Beverly Hills Eyeshadow Palette. Before we dive into the review, here are the colors of the palette:

UuuuUuuuh - a shimmery rose pink

Yes I do - a shimmery mid-tone copper

Surgery - a matte burgundy

Fck Me Eyes - a shimmery light forest green

Serendipity - a matte brown with orange undertones

Loyalty - a shimmery bright, purple

Scandal - a matte, light beige

(A)Mar - a shimmery, royal blue

Wndrlnd - a matte, mustard yellow

Narcissist - a shimmery duochrome, dark seafoam green with brown undertones

Worth It - a shimmery red with coral undertones

Cold Brew - a matte, dark brown with mauve undertones

As you can tell in the finger and brush swatches, the pigmentation is almost identical. The only shade that needs a little more love is Scandal, but granted it is meant to be a highlight and base shade. I created a Fall look using the colors in this palette and thinking of how the leaves in Autumn change colors to dark browns, reds, oranges and mustard yellow. As I was applying the shades that I used, I experienced little to no fallout or kick up. The shades are some of the most pigmented shades that I have ever used. The shadows also apply smoothly and last long.

The color story of the palette leans more towards warmer, darker Fall and Winter colors. Not to say that you can't wear it year round, but some people may use it as a Fall/Winter Palette. The ratio of matte to shimmer is nicely balanced and the colors work very nicely with each other. Cold Brew, Wndrlnd, Narcissist and Loyalty are my favorite shades.

While the quality is some of the best eyeshadow and pressed pigment quality that I have ever used, the price may be a turn off for some people. This palette on the surface is cheaper than an Anastasia Beverly Hills eyeshadow palette. At $37, you would think its an accessible price. However, this brand is based in Germany and flat rate shipping is $15.00, which including taxes, makes it more expensive than an ABH palette. The only downside to this palette is the shipping cost.

However, I feel that this palette and the quality of it is worth the shipping cost to justify it, but, if you are on a tight budget, Lethal Cosmetics does have sales and that is usually the best time to pick items. You can also create your own palette with Lethal Cosmetics. You get to pick the shades and even the palette you want.

All in all, if you want to try Lethal Cosmetics Eyeshadows and Pressed Pigments without hurting your wallet too much, their pre-made palettes are the way to go. This palette is a lovely addition to my collection and I love it!

For the first time ever, we have a palette that receives the highest score possible.

This palette gets 10 Autumn Leaves out of 10.
